Private Chef Experience at Secret Cabins

 

We are thrilled to offer our Secret Cabins guests the option to book a Private Chef Experience. This optional extra, gives you the option of booking a taste sensation dining experience whilst in our luxury setting.

When looking to book the experience please make sure you have read all the details below carefully.

 

How does it work?

Whilst considering our private chef experiece, please take a look at the menu options as shown below along with the cost, terms and conditions. If you decide to proceed please select a menu from the four options and email our chef directly providing the following details...

  • Name
  • Date of Stay
  • Venue (please check your booking confirmation to provide the correct name of your venue)
  • Menu choice (all the menus are numbered below)
  • Any dietary requirements
  • If you wish to include the wine pairing option (this is an extra cost - noted per menu below).
  • Ideal time of chefs arrival

The chef will then contact you to confirm your booking and timings along with payment details etc.

 

What do I need to know? (Terms and Conditions)

  • The experience must be booked a minimum of 28 days days in advance - if you are within this time frame please do not email to book.
  • You must confirm your dietary requirements no later than 7 working days prior to your experience (please include in your first initial email).
  • The menus are set. You cannot pick and choose different courses and combine menus. Pick one set menu and please do not email the chef requesting changes but dietary requirements will be catered for.
  • If you cancel the experience within two weeks of the date it is happening - you will not recieve a refund. Outside of two weeks you can cancel and get a refund for the experience.
  • The experience must be paid for in advance.
  • Secret Cabins takes no responsibility for guests booking our chef. Secret Cabins or the chef take no responsbility for any allergic reactions.
  • All cutlery, crockery, napkins, food and cooking utensils are included in the experience.
  • The experience is for two guests at a time.

 

What is the cost of the experience?

£150 per person (for two people the total cost is £300).

You have the option to add a wine pairing to the main course. Each menu has a wine pairing option price below. which is price for the bottle. Wine pairing cannot be by the glass.

 

Who is the chef?

Jamie Bailey - "I co-own the White Hart in Pulborough next to Stopham bridge along with my Wife, Brother -in -law and Sister- in -law. I have been a chef for the past 24 years and have worked in 7 different kitchens over the years. The White Hart is a gastro pub. I skilfully plan our menus and evolve our food throughout the different seasons. I try to use the finest locally sourced seasonal ingredients where possible to ensure our food is outstanding. My goal has been to create and serve classic dishes with quality ingredients paired with great wine. Here at Secret Cabins, I would love to offer you the Private Chef dining experience and take you on a journey to excite your taste buds by cooking delicious and flavourful dishes. I believe the dining experience is more than just cooking a meal and involves putting together a blend of tasty ingredients to create unique mouth-watering flavours that go beyond the sensory experience. I look forward to sharing my expertise."

You can email Chef Jamie directly - chefjamiebailey@gmail.com

Please do not email the chef to ask to change menus, to change the price or to choose various menu options to combine them- your email sadly will not be responded to as this cannot be done.

 

Where should I eat if Chef Jamie is not free?

No problem, if Chef Jamie is not available or you would prefer to dine out. You can visit Chef Jamie at his Gastro Pub - The White Hart.
